Sejin Boo holds a B.S., an M.S. and D.S. in Wood and Cellulose Chemistry from Kyoto University. He began his career in Dai-ichi Kogyo Seiyaku in Kyoto where he was involved in the product development of water-soluble gums and resins. He entered in the field of intellectual property in 1995 and have handled patent applications related to liquid-crystal display devices, resin composition, drill chucks and so on. He passed the Japanese Patent Bar exam in 2002 and joined Shinjyu in 2016. He is a member of Japanese Patent Attorneys Association as well as the Cellulose Society of Japan. He is native in Japanese and fluent in English, and especially, in Korean. He can also reads and translates Chinese and German.
