Masako Ueda holds a B.Eng. in Chemical Engineering from Kyoto University, and began her career at Kansai Electric Power Co., Ltd. She has been involved in the intellectual property since 2001, and she was admitted to practice as a Japanese patent attorney in 2004. She assists in the preparation of patent application in the mechanical and chemical fields. She is a member of the Japanese Patent Attorneys Association.
